As long as you can find a place in or around a city, you should be happy. I had never been without car in my adult life until moving to Spain, specifically here in Santiago where I just don’t need one. That was one of many reasons why I chose this city, actually. Mind you, I’m in my 30s and don’t have mobility issues. When walking isn’t enough, we have cheap cabs and buses. Also: food delivery here (via Glovo or Just Eat) is much cheaper than in America, not that I use it often.
